Role overview
This is a leadership position focused on designing and implementing a comprehensive developer portal — a central resource hub for our API and SDK materials. The role exists to ensure developers can successfully integrate with the platform's tools.
Key responsibilities
- Developer Portal Creation — lead strategy, design, and implementation, featuring tutorials, guides, and interactive tools.
- Content Development — write, edit, and manage technical documentation including API references, integration guides, SDK examples, and troubleshooting resources.
- Collaborate Across Teams — work with product, engineering, and design teams to understand developer needs.
- Developer Enablement — build onboarding experiences and sample applications.
- Tools and Standards — define documentation tools, processes, and best practices.
- Feedback Integration — engage with the developer community to gather feedback and iterate.
- Evangelize the Platform — advocate through blogs, webinars, videos, and developer content.
- Team Leadership — build and lead technical writers or developer advocates as the ecosystem grows.
Qualifications
- Proven experience creating developer-focused documentation, portals, or content for APIs and SDKs.
- Strong software development understanding, including REST APIs, SDKs, and modern frameworks.
- Exceptional writing skills — translating technical concepts clearly.
- Familiarity with Swagger / OpenAPI, Postman, Markdown, Git, and static site generators.
- Experience collaborating with engineering teams.
- Demonstrated user-centric design ability for developers.
- Background in developer relations, technical writing, or developer experience preferred.
- Bonus: API design, programming languages, or sample app development experience.
